The table is a tribute to the African concept of “Karibu Sana”. With this welcome people of Tanzania say to each other, they want to give guests the feeling they are accepted and wanted. The table, which we believe is the central element of the home, is made with the desire to transfer this concept to the home where it will be installed. It is still to be decided whether this table is better used as an office desk or a dining table. Its owner will decide that. Both legs are formed of 168 hand-worked pieces of various thicknesses, lengths and widths, sensibly placed in a wooden mosaic.
